If you know me well, you know that I'm really into crossing things off of my bucket list. Why? Because YOLO (you only live once), and I believe you should enjoy every single moment. In fact, many country music artists have told us just the same. Tim McGraw sang about the truly amazing things that resulted from a man being forced to live like he was dying, and Lee Ann Womack's 2000 hit told us that when we get the choice to sit it out or dance, dance. There's also Travis Tritt's It's a Great Day to Be Alive, Don't Miss Your Life by Phil Vassar, Don't Blink by Kenny Chesney... and the list goes on.
While I have many different categories on my bucket list, the one I want to share with you today is my country concert bucket list (obviously!). Some of the crossed off shows I had been dying to see, and some of them just happened by chance, but I'm not complaining. Here's a peek:
Brantley Gilbert Chase Rice Dixie Chicks Dolly Parton |
Elvis Presley
FarmBorough
George Jones
Johnny Cash
Josh Turner
Kacey Musgraves
|
Keith Urban
Randy Travis Reba McEntire |
Shania Twain Sturgill Simpson Vince Gill Zac Brown Band |
Maybe I'm a bit of a concert addict? But I'm completely okay with that. I do realize some of those I haven't seen yet are a little unrealistic - given the fact that they are no longer around - but a girl can dream, right? And yes, I know there are a ton of amazing artists I missed, but my list is constantly growing (as it should be!).
Who's on YOUR country concert bucket list? (Share below!) And if you don't have one, now's the perfect time to get it going (especially with all of the shows coming to the NYC area this summer)! Josh Gracin says "it's never too late so do it while you can, cause tomorrow could go wrong" and he's right. So, raise your glass... here's to life!
She's dyin' to try something foolish
Do something crazy
Or just get away
Something for herself for a change
Is there life out there
So much she hasn't done
